Book a florist early. As we are an independent floral designer, we only ever commit to one wedding on any given day to ensure that we provide the highest quality service to you and your flowers.
If you are concerned about your wedding date being booked by someone else, you can save the date in our diary for 4 weeks by paying a small deposit (£150.00) – or guarantee our availability and secure a booking with us for a £500.00 deposit. Both deposits are fully deductible from your final bill but are non-refundable should you decide to cancel.
Make sure that flowers are accounted for within your wedding budget – it’s often an area that is overlooked! A popular wedding magazine recently reported that couples spend an average of 5-10% of their total wedding budget on flowers.
All floral designs are tailor-made – so feel free to come to the consultation with pictures from the internet or magazines, swatches of dress material, colours and flowers that you like.
If you haven’t given much thought to flowers, don’t panic!! We have plenty of wedding flower magazines and books for you to browse through at the consultation to provide some inspiration. And plenty of our own ideas too!
Don’t worry about vase hire - we have a variety of glassware, containers, and other decorative items such as bay trees available to hire as part of our service.
We are 100% confident that the flower designs we choose together for your special day will be everything you imagined. But if you’re looking for that extra reassurance, we are happy to make up a smaller “test” design for your approval before the big day itself (additional charges will apply).
It’s worth checking with your venue what decorations they allow. Some have restrictions on the use of candles and churches may insist on using their own in-house flower arrangers. And others insist on real flower confetti only.
Flowers can vary enormously in price – depending on the time of year, availability of your chosen flowers, and the time and skill involved in creating your designs. So don’t assume that the price guide will be what you end up paying –designs may be less, some more.
Please don’t be afraid to ask questions, however silly you think they may seem – that’s what we’re here for!
